When We Don’t Remember the Good – The Thank You Dish

It’s time for #MovieMonday!

Do you ever forget the good? Do you,  like me, forget all the moving parts that have come together to produce the things we enjoy every day? Do you get bogged down with the hard things?

Do your kids feel like they don’t have enough, or do they complain about the things they have? (YES!!!)

This sweet treasure of a book reminds us that we have so much to be thankful for, and it recognizes all the many moving parts it takes to create even just a portion of the meal in front of us. How much better would we feel if we remembered to be thankful for all the little things? How much better would our children be able to willingly try new things or happily handle their chores or eat their food if they appreciated the work that was put in?

Here’s a sneak peek — then add it to your wishlist here: https://r4037.myubam.com/p/6249/thank-you-dish-the

Want to use this in your family? Make a “Thank You Jar”. Every time someone thinks of something to be thankful for and why, write it on a slip of paper, and keep it in the middle of the table. When dinner time comes around, make more slips or read some old ones. How much can you fill up before Thanksgiving this year? How fun would it be to remember all the fun and silly things you’ve been thankful for throughout the year!
